Haris Psarras has published five poetry books. He has also co-edited two collective volumes and has contributed poems, essays, translations, and short stories to journals and edited collections. Translations of his work have appeared in anthologies and periodicals in Europe and North America.

Haris studied law at the University of Athens, the University of Oxford, and the University of Edinburgh. He has held academic posts at the University of Edinburgh and the University of Cambridge. He is now Associate Professor of Law at the University of Southampton.
