Giorgos Gotis was born in Andravida, Greece in 1956. He studied Dentistry. He has published eight poetic collections: “ At early dawn” (1988), “Natural History” (1991),”Hidden Image”(1999), “Chronography”(2007), “Without map”(2011) , “Elementary Particles” (2015), “ Converging Winds” (2018), “ Journey to the Shadows” (2021) and also the novel, “More Veneto” (2013), all from now stigmi edition. He writes regularly essays for literary journals.
In 2008, he received the prestigious Poetry Award from the Greek journal “Diavazo” for his collection “Chronography” and in 2017 he was honoured by the Academy of Athens. His poems have been published in journals and anthologies of several countries.
