GALANI ELENI
Eleni N. Galani studied Archaeology and Art History at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and at the Sorbonne (Paris I), and Museology at the École du Louvre in Paris and the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
She is the author of five poetry collections: Parkour (Gavriilidis, 2012), shortlisted for the Anagnostis Literary Magazine Award; Terrarium, Ward's Experiment (Melani, 2014), shortlisted for the Greek State Literary Awards; The Eastern End (To Anatoliko Telos, Melani, 2017); Oxygen Two (Rome Publications, 2023), longlisted by Chartis Literary Magazine; and The Minotaur's Daughter (Smili, 2025).
In 2018, her one-act play Trieste received distinction in the literary competition for emerging playwrights organized by the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation and was staged at the Foundation's theater under the direction of Roula Pateraki.
She has also written and illustrated two children's books. Her poetry has been translated into English, French, German, and Spanish.
In addition, she has published articles, reviews of art exhibitions and books, and interviews with painters, writers, and artists. Her photographs and cyanotypes frequently accompany these publications and have been exhibited in Greece and abroad.
