Marisa De Castro has taught in the private sector History and Literature to primary school children. She has written several children’s books on History and Art and has translated children’s and adult fiction. Since 1998 she has written critical articles on children and adolescent books for the daily newspapers "TO VIMA", "TA NEA", Book revues "ITHAKA" (Greek National Book Centre), DIAVAZO, "Book Press", "O ANAGNOSTIS".
She is member of IBBY Greece and of the Editorial Committee of the book review "O ANAGNOSTIS".
